Mr. Herd is a REALTOR Emeritus and 2009 past President and 2013 recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of REALTORS; past President of the West Hollywood Realty Board (1964-1965). Former officer and/or director of five other significant real estate professional associations. Mr. Herd. Is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate (American Society of Real Estate Counselors). Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (international). Herd is a past member of the California Real Estate Commissioner’s Education and Research Advisory Committee and a seventeen term director of the California Association of REALTORS. He served as a senior Real Estate Instructor at UCLA Extension and has held seats on fourteen university and college real estate education advisory committees.
